Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park is one of the most iconic and highly visited tourist attractions in the United States, with people traveling from all over the globe to take in its majestic vistas. But the area had deteriorated through the years and the National Park Service didn’t have the funds to upgrade the trails, visitor center, gift shop, bathrooms and outdoor amphitheater. We needed to tell the story of a unique partnership between the public, corporate, non-profit and private sectors to rebuild this breathtaking setting without government funding.

Challenge

The partnership of the Park Service, the concessionaire, Delaware North, and a donation to the Yosemite Fund by Ambassador Bill Lane allowed for the documentation of the restoration of Glacier Point-Preserving this National landmark is now documented for the historical archives.
